Experience the perfect blend of comfort and hospitality of Funtana

Funtana, a small village with a special charm, is a true gem of Istria and a popular tourist destination with a mild climate and crystal-clear sea, offering a swimming season from May to October. Once a fishing and agricultural village, today it is a lively little town. Funtana got its name from freshwater springs located right by the sea, which have supplied sailors since ancient times.
Situated in the most indented part of Istria, with numerous well-maintained bays and small islands, blue-flag beaches, and the cleanest sea in this part of the Mediterranean, Funtana also boasts a 1.5 km-long promenade from Perila to Bijela Uvala, making it a perfect destination for relaxation and summer holidays.
Funtana is surrounded by rolling hills covered with vineyards, olive groves, fields, and meadows, as well as oak and pine forests that often stretch all the way to the pebble beaches and secluded coves. Along the coastline, you can find children's playgrounds, refreshment spots, and areas for sports and recreation. The village also features a modern marina with a variety of facilities, as well as a diverse selection of restaurants and traditional taverns.
